Caroline Hobby Instagram – 10 years married. How do I even put into words what you mean to me @michaelhobby? I can’t, but I’ll try. You always show up. You do the hard work. You love your family with every fiber of your being. You have always shown me and proved to me that I am your world and nothing could take your love from me. You always make me and Sunny the priority. You never sacrifice your family for career, you always find a way to balance. You are loyal and committed. You are sweet, kind and loving. You aren’t scared and don’t run when things get hard, instead you dig in deeper and work and love even harder until the light shines through again. You communicate everything with me. You never make me feel forgotten. You choose your family over everything, everytime. You adore me and Sunny and love us like we hung the moon, bc we are the stars in your sky and you always let us know that.
Marriage is not always easy. In fact it can be really hard in certain seasons. I don’t know our secret. But I’m guessing it has to be that we don’t have an escape plan, we always show up and choose to love each other, commit to each other and do the hard work. We communicate like crazy and love each other like we are the last people on earth. My mom told us this when we got married, “marriage is never equal at the same time.” We have taken that to heart and we hold each other up when the other is struggling, we support each other and honor each other and are the safest, most sacred place for each others journey and heart. I love you so much @michaelhobby and I am so blessed to have you as my ride or die. You have allowed me the safety and trust to find myself while being with you, you have given me a place to settle and be free. You have showed me adventure I could never have dreamed of, and you have given me the life and family of my dreams. There is no me without you.
