My late father (then) LIEUTENANT VK JAITLY a HINDU officer of the INDIAN ARMY was just 20 years old when he was gravely wounded in 1971 war fought for the liberation of BANGLADESH.
He and many thousands of our soldiers fought for your independence because it was the right thing to fight against oppression that your country suffered.
He and many soldiers like him suffered the physical and psychological scars and trauma of war all their life.
The loss of limb and life was horrific as well. Hearing of the horrific incidents of attacks in 52 districts on HINDU CHRISTIAN & BUDDHIST minorities is heartbreaking.
Many soldiers like my father put their life and limb
on line for your country’s freedom irrespective of any Bangladeshi’s religion caste or creed …
Do not forget… He/ they put their life on line because it was the right thing to do…
In your revolution against corruption the persecution of minorities MUST STOP!! Your war is against the drawbacks of your system not your own countrymen !!
