My brother served as a @unpeacekeeping in #lebanon and myself since 2013 with @unitednations @free.equal
My soldier dad often quoted the saying “I am Although a soldier by profession, I have never felt any sort of fondness for war, and I have never advocated it, except as a means of peace.”
Papa once told me : I would die ten times over for my country and be torn to pieces uncountable for my nation as well … But I would also die to keep the peace in this world .. So that no would ever have to bear the scars and wounds that I have bourne and witnessed firsthand in war !”
Both my brother n I vow this #rakhshabandhan to keep working towards their wishes in our journey and keep advocating for peace through all our endeavours…
