I knew this was going to be special but I didn’t know how special! this trip exceeded my expectations. I have to admit I was hesitant bc I’d be doing it alone with the kids and I had never visited the Bahamas before but it’s been great! I mean of course we’ve had difficulties (kids crying or screaming or borderline having a meltdown etc) BUT that’s daily life with kids lol so all in all it’s been AMAZING. BEYOND AMAZING. When I was planning this vacation I knew I didn’t want any city like activity so Exuma was the choice for me but needed to know I wouldn’t be “alone” (like in an Airbnb) because of the kids, so when I found this hotel with a pool and a restaurant and I saw it was RIGHT ON THE BEACH (there was no way I’d be walking far or driving every day to go to the beach) I was like YES! SCORE! and score we did! The staff here was so helpful, caring and kind. I am so happy to have found this little treasure called @exumapalmsresort – I definitely plan to come back alone so I can actually like hear my thoughts lol and swim alone in these majestic waters without worrying for my kids lives. Had such a good time taking to the man himself @gerardarmondpowell !! He is the founder of @rythmia_ . Rythmia is the life advancement center in Costa Rica that I’ve been posting about so much because it’s literally changed my life. So of course I had to have a little chat with Gerry so I could share it here for everyone. I so wish we could get into his full story and how his life used to be before Rythmia, how he met @drjeffmcnairy , how he discovered plant medicine and how Rythmia came about. It’s a wild, long story and I guess you’ll just have to go to Rythmia to hear it lol I’ve gone to Rythmia twice, last year and last month and my life changed both times but I do feel the change was exponential for me. This second time around really opened up sooooooooooooo much more for me.
