Elisa Donovan Instagram – #fbf When we made a roller derby music video with @lusciousjackson for the @clueless soundtrack. 🎶 I only remember brief glimpses of this day. One: These awesome Beverly Hills jerseys, I still have mine somewhere. Two: when I realized that rollerskating and roller derby-ing are two VERY different things (y’all— that rink was sloped like the freaking Alps 🏔️ 🛼😳😂 ). And three: Brittany and I talking about acting and the business. She had just had an audition for a film – I don’t recall which one – and she was so excited at the prospect of getting it. She was bursting with innocence & enthusiasm. Coming from NYC and the theatre, I arrived to Hollywood with training and a massive respect for craft- I felt like she had that, too. When I look at this photo, it’s hard to fathom all that would lie ahead for her – both the brilliant and the destructive.
