Last night I was disappointed in myself that I didn’t get the KO, I am a perfectionist and I know I had more to give out there. The way my fitness dropped off in the latter rounds of my last fight made me wary to step on the gas with more combos when I had her hurt but I can reflect that I did have more in the tank and will be able to go into future fights with that confidence.
Overall I am now happy with the performance and realise I am still on a learning curve. April 2022 I stepped into a boxing gym for the first time and threw my first EVER punch. Now I am fighting combat sports pros!! Crazy…
A special thank you to my opponent @thetennesseegangster. It takes 2 to put on a good fight and she was certainly in there to snatch the belt from me. Jenny, you put on an entertaining fight week and I hope to see you continue to grow into the space with more opportunities!
