Gabby Logan Instagram – Another wonderful day in the North East for the @great_run and while reminiscing with @alidoesmakeup it dawned on me that this is the 10th one I have worked on (having run it a couple of times as a younger woman). I’ve done a wee trip down memory lane and realised @mofarahgold features a lot in the photo archive. Some old friends on these pictures who aren’t here anymore and in black the year we were the first live non news show after HM Queen Elizabeth ll died. Ali has done nine of them with me handling some challenging weather for hair (lots of ponytails) and every year we agree it’s one of the great days at work. Inspiring humans being great and as one of my guests said today (as we all know in-spite of how it feels at times) ‘most people are good’.
