Gomathi Priya Instagram – *‘Best Heroine Award’!!!* Oh my god 💃💃 I don’t even know where to begin! My six years of hard work in small screen journey as an actress in Tamil has truly paid off! I came from Madurai, having no contacts or experience in television industry. I only trusted my instinct, hard work and talent. Though I started my journey in Tamil TV industry, I have always been receiving good recognition & fame in Telugu industry for the roles I played. To receive this award from Tamil TV industry for the first time was truly an honor and a Dream come True. I consider this award as a recognition of my incredible journey and contribution in Tamil television. I am so thankful to Vijay TV and Vikatan production for giving me this opportunity to play the the character called *Meena*, which is in a way, very close to my heart bcz it is very similar to my real life and its situations. I specially thank my dear Director, fellow Cast members, and the entire Crew for the immense support.
And also this award is very special to me because i received it from my mother which was a very big surprise. It was her first experience as well to enter into this huge stage & be on-screen.
