This tail is a special project I’ve been developing for awhile. Unlike my past tails and most tails sold by professional companies, this tail is designed to be as “realistic” as possible by minimizing the bend in the knees and ankles. This method of an “extended” tail was created by the special effects company JMBFX studios for the hit tv show “H20: Just Add Water,” and the mermaid movie “Aquamarine.” The tail was a quite a workout to swim in and there are definitely imperfections, but a lot of the new methods I used worked, and I know exactly what to do differently for future tails.
