I am always writing, re-writing, observing, and remembering! So much of what a sideline reporter does is behind the scenes. I do my own research and write all of my stories and reports. I don’t like to memorize word for word, I prefer to remember key bullet points — therefore when I deliver the report it’s more conversational.
One thing that’s great about working with Gus, Joel and our entire crew is we always try to keep everything conversational and let the football game tell the story!
Special shout-out to my sideline producer Prince because he helps me narrow down key stories / angles while keeping an eye on any injuries from both teams.
