Here we have a marvelous example of master imagery used in an exceptionally effective way. Reyez truly digs deep to paint a picture when she describes the cars glass walls being lowered as the vehicle cruises down what we can only assume to be an ocean view highway that hugs the coast of Northern California. She proceeds to make great use of the homonymy between “ridin” and “right-in”. Ground breaking word play. Sexual innuendo has been introduced with an air of coquette-ness but the crescendo of this four bar section comes in the final punch line. When she confirms that the other hand of her love interest is still operating the vehicle, Reyez lets the bulls of our imaginations run into the red and the scene is delivered.
