Julie Foudy Instagram – People ask me every year, what event do you LOVE to cover. Hands down, the Little League World Series. Beyond the amazing players, and their families/friends, I also love it because it’s one of few places in youth sports that truly celebrates the JOY of playing, win or lose. We also celebrate that JOY in our coverage. Hence, when I said we’re gonna launch water balloons at kids and fat heads because why not, the immediate reply was I LOVE IT. And isn’t that what we should be teaching our kids. Win, lose, draw….play hard, enjoy the heck out of it, celebrate others, and on hot days stuff your mic in your bra when launching water balloons. #morejoyplease #LLWS
