Weekend Mewd 🍹
This is almost 3 years ago. I have a “smile” ish on my face that I am absolutely forcing with every cell and will in my body. Inside, I felt like I was dying. I was in a mental torture chamber filled with fear, tears, intrusive thoughts, paranoia, anxiety and panic attacks. I had a perfect little baby who I was so in love with but couldn’t gather the mental strength to get out of bed. I cried. Everyday. All day. For months and months. Alone and in my dark room. I had post partum anxiety and depression and that is when my journey with mental health began. It didn’t stop until I got help. Forever grateful to my doctors and loved ones who helped me get there. I share a piece of my story in hopes you can share a piece of yours. Let’s talk. Let’s end the stigma. Let’s check in on our loved ones. #Repost @kelfurgalicious because this whole post is just too good 💕💕 ・・・ 37 weeks in/ 37 weeks out (me) 33 weeks in/ 33 weeks out (Kaitlyn) ✨✨✨ Neither of us made it to 40 weeks pregnant… little did we know that these two wee lovebugs & future besties needed to get out into the world & play as much as possible before the pandemic took over! Today was such a momentous day because we took the babies to yoga for the first time in months- outdoors- and sat and drank sangria on a patio-throughly sterilized & spaced out- afterwards. It was glorious. I feel so grateful for little experiences like this that I took for granted before, and lucky to have a friend and like-minded mama in @kaitdubz to have gone on this journey with!
