Kerry Ellis Instagram – Besides the amazing ports, fun parties and meaningful friendships formed on the cruise, one of the best parts of this year’s Med cruise was the incredible entertainers and performers who worked their asses off (some of them for 20 days) to give us stellar entertainment.
From Broadway performers to drag queens and comedians to international DJs, the entertainment did not disappoint:
1. One reason this cruise was so memorable to me was because I got to spend 10 nights with one of my oldest and dearest friends, who just so happens to be an incredible Broadway performer and television actor. Here’s @tellyleung singing the Broadway National Anthem “Seasons of Love” from a little show called “Rent,” in which he was in the final cast.
2. West End dreamboat with the voice of an angel @robhouchen singing one of the most famous songs from my all-time favorite musical “Les Miserables.”
3. The incredibly talented @brandojamesmusic was magic on the piano and had everyone singing at the piano bar. Unfortunately, the only video I have of him performing is me singing “Defying Gravity” over him but I swear his voice is so much better than mine!
4. Drag race superstar @courtneyact gave us the mash-up of “Hot to Go” and “YMCA” that we didn’t know we needed (and it was awesome)!
5. Scissor Sisters frontman @jakeshears gave us a private concert on the Aquatic pool deck at sea – one of the coolest experiences ever!
6. Drag Race Superstar @itsshangela bringing down a packed house!
7. Atlantis regular drag queen and comedienne @lavoixtheshow getting everyone up on their feet to the gay anthem “It’s Raining Men.”
8. West End and Broadway superstar @kerryellis79 with one of the most powerful voices I’ve ever heard. She literally had 4 standing ovations during her performance. Here she is DESTROYING “Defying Gravity” (putting me to shame)!
9. Atlantis regular and superstar DJ @djabelaguilera spinning the Disco Tea Dance the last day of the cruise. Always one of the best parties!
10. Atlantis regular and superstar DJ @danielsl8r killing it at the final party the last night of the cruise playing one of my favorite remixes – Lorene’s “Tattoo”.
