Lea Salonga Instagram – Two months ahead of the opening night of the much-anticipated “Request Sa Radyo,” theater students, professors, and actors gathered in the JZA Hall of the Samsung Performing Arts Theater for Conversations in Spotlight: a talk featuring award-winning actresses Dolly De Leon and Lea Salonga moderated by producer Clint Ramos.
In the discussion, Dolly and Lea open up about their beginnings in acting, generational differences in the theater industry, and their advice for aspiring actors. “I always say this,” Dolly says. “Start by thinking, ‘Why are you doing this?’ Why do you want to be an actor?”
