The two years without my beautiful sister, Lauren, seems like an eternity. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and try to be a little more like her. If you were lucky enough to know her, you also know how she lit up every room she walked into. If Lauren was there, you knew you would be loved, and supported, and that you’d definitely have a good time. She loved kids and animals and was ferociously loyal to her family and friends. She was completely selfless, wickedly funny and would always send a beautiful, hand-written card any time you needed it.
I miss her. I miss Ross, sweet Remy and the promise of baby Luca. But they will always be with me – on my mind, in my heart and in the grief I’ll carry for the rest of my life.
