We are all carrying a lot. Physically, emotionally, mentally. And most of the time, we carry it all in silence. One extra floaty around the neck could be the straw that broke the human’s back.
Deep breaths. Soften. Give yourself grace and compassion. Pray. Ask to be prayed over. Phone a friend, a loved one. They will pick up that plastic beach shovel, the giant cooler of snacks and water, your grief, your disappointment, your anger… they will help you carry it. One step at a time.
God never promised that life would be easy. God promised that you wouldn’t have to do the hard alone.
