Rashida Tlaib Instagram – @tayta_from_the_d (aka Tots) has been a surprise gift for our family during the pandemic. She was a failed foster. After 11 weeks, we couldn’t let her go, so we adopted her. Every time I am sad about everything going on in the world, she just comes up and stays with me. It has been incredible to see how she connects with every single family member. I tell everyone that I never thought I would be a dog mom, but I am convinced that they are one of the ways to help people through trauma and other painful mental health challenges.
