I thought it was so interesting that Ankur’s designs are inspired by body textures – freckles, moles, wrinkles, and lines. This particular saree is crafted using inspiration from wrinkle lines, which are initially painted and then digitized. This technique ensures that when draped on the body, the saree conforms to the wearer’s shape! The fabric is woven by artisans from Banaras.
