Ray BLK Instagram – Sunshine ☀️ is out TOMORROW ☀️
When I wrote this song, my light felt so dim. I was waiting for people to give me permission to shine. Permission to be myself, to grow and speak my truth. In relationships, and in my work. The dark of this music industry was oppressing me real bad. But after the rain comes the sun! I’m so grateful to have the freedom of being an independent artist again! There’s nobody making me feel not good enough, nobody muting my creativity to commercialise me, nobody to tell me to change my hair, change my weight, change my clothes. When the rain poured it POURED but I used it to WATER myself and the growth makes me feel ready for harvest!
