Did you know that Black women have the highest death rate and shortest survival of any racial or ethnic group in the U.S. for most cancers? To better understand the drivers of cancer and other health concerns among Black Women, @americancancersociety has recently launched VOICES of Black Women. This is the largest cohort study of cancer risk and outcomes amongst Black women in the United States. VOICES is calling on Black women from all walks of life to join the movement – a collective commitment to understanding and improving the health of Black women across the nation.
