Sarah Nurse Instagram – Dress for Success Toronto is celebrating 15 years of empowering women in the GTHA, and we’re proud to announce the launch of our What Suits You? awareness campaign. Dress for Success Toronto is known for the confidence-building Suiting Program that has supported over 20,000 women. But we are more than a great suit. What Suits You? encourages individuals to reflect on the diverse journeys that have brought them to where they are today.
We’re honoured to launch What Suits You? with the announcement of our inaugural ambassador, @nursey16. For the Canadian Olympian and power forward for the Professional Women’s Hockey League’s Toronto Sceptres, it’s no surprise that “empowerment” is the word Sarah chose to represent her own professional journey.
“I believe in community and the power of women moving each other forward. Particularly as a hard-working woman in a male-dominated field. To me, empowerment means agency and the ability to make my decisions based on my values. Empowerment most definitely suits me, and so many of the women with whom I work – on my teams, in my business, and in my volunteer work,” says Sarah.
