What an incredible but again… heartbreaking episode. It’s never easy when our contestants are eliminated especially when they all could’ve easily been in that finale. I know that feeling too well, I think my most devastating semi final elimination as a pro was with Charlie White. I have learned since then is that part of the magic of this show is that it gives everyone a chance, dance experience or not, to go all the way. Heck I won with Bobby who still to this day days he “can’t dance”.
Regardless of now being a judge I will always be a pro dancer that feels deeply the joy, frustration, devastation and elation that our couples go through. The empath in me can’t help it. So, I’m equally excited and thrilled and proud of the couples who made our Grand Finale, and I’m so sad for those that didn’t. I hope every single one of you know that you’re incredible, and YOU are what makes this show magical. You are the magic ❤️
