My daughter Sadhbhy and I will be taking part in a 10k run on 15th June where we are aiming to raise money for ‘The Dear Toby Trust’. Toby, was just eight weeks old when he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) and was being treated for his condition at the amazing Great Ormond Street Hospital, but incredibly sadly his recovery was not to be, and he died aged at the tender age of seven months old.
As a result his loving family and friends set up ‘The Dear Toby Trust’ charity in Toby’s honour to raise money in order to help find new ways to treat rare cancers and reduce the suffering of children enduring cancer treatment.
There’s a link in my bio and any level of donation towards this very worthy cause would be greatly appreciated. But the bigger the better. We will ensure we both get over the finish line to make every single penny donated count.
