After YEARS of not getting my nails done post-babies, I made a new years resolution in 2023 to do that for myself again. Every 2-3 weeks, I promised myself would get my nails done. And generally I have stuck to that, though now I more often than not to them myself because I’m so dang particular about details that it’s more enjoyable (and convenient and affordable) to spare technicians the headache and just do them myself! 😝
Something about catching glimpses of my nails looking bloody gorgeous throughout the day makes every day just a little bit better. Like, no matter how stressed or tired I am or how disheveled and overstimulated I feel, maybe I have my sh*t just a little bit more together than I think.
