Sometimes, when I smell the aroma of roses, I forget that you’re not around to steal them from my braid and laugh like a child. And when I remember, my heart breaks all over again. And yet, the same heart wants to preserve the sweetness of your smile. Because even though your memory brings me immense pain, it reminds me what it felt like to love and to be loved 🙂
