Taya Rogers Instagram – Going home to LA after being away for 5 years was overwhelming to say the least. I never meant to stay away for so long and staying in touch (even in this day and age of such advanced technology) is never as satisfying as being able to reach out and hug the people we love.
I made two whole humans since I last saw my family & friends- and they made humans, got married, got divorced, started new businesses, bought and sold houses, lived a whole life I could only watch from the internet sidelines 🥲 Being home for 5 weeks still didn’t feel like enough, but I am so grateful to have been able to at least scratch the surface of catching up with a handful of the people I’ve missed so much 🥹❤️ I’m still heartbroken we didn’t get to see everyone or do all the things I wanted to do (honestly we had so much to deal with this trip, I’m still processing 😣) but I won’t stay away for so long this time and until then I hope we get more visitors in Thailand 🏝️💕
