The design features our newly developed anatomical silhouette, reminiscent of the house’s signature ‘Animal Toe’ motif. The style was first revealed in the ‘Summertime’ collection of Spring-Summer 2000, which looked to the symbolism of Bacchus – the Roman god of agriculture, wine and fertility. For this collection, shoes revealed a likeness to fauns, or the lion’s paw of a mythical creature. ⁠
