I proudly announce the next Bastet Productions film officially in pre-production – LIKE WATER. The story of Mami Wata in a time travelling romance full of mystery. Our short film is a proof of concept for a limited TV series.
@_slickfilms first came on my radar when I watched The Silent Child, a short film they produced a few years back which won an Oscar. I cried. 🥲 I said to myself this is how you make a short film.
Now to see that our film is long-listed for funding with them and to have their recognition is such an honour. We look forward to hearing more.
