Zaria Instagram – 3 years ago, @writerras @lindsaycbring @ginagirolamo @jimmyg517 changed my life. Azeem, @iamjamesjolly @greenetalent sent me an audition for the newest @prettylittleliars . My first audition was for Tabby but @davidrapaport gave me another bite at the apple for Faran. The ballerina. I called @fckoffvivian & @ladyahah to help me dust off my dancing shoes, shoes I had only dabbled w/putting on thru the years. I, unfortunately, believed the “Madame Giry” that told me to give up, but that’s a different story. When I got the call, I was auditioning for another role with Gary. We both started sobbing when we heard that I booked one of the 5 new liars: Faran.
The road feels so long. & then, all of a sudden, you stumble upon the well.
I’m so grateful to everyone I’ve met on this journey. Every fan that anxiously awaited the next season. Every interaction we get to have thru Mouse’s worldwide web. Thank u for loving us so much that this decision perplexes people. You’ve made it confusing and that’s beautiful.
To this generation of liars: @baileemadison @chandlerlkinney @maliapyles @maiareficco @malpal43 look out world. Here you come. Each of these women are passionate &hardworking &full of love. I’m grateful to them that women around the world will only have to turn their tv on to witness them.
There is no succinct way to end this but, thank you cast crew and esp. @officialzakiyayoung @bentleygreenofficial @bentylercook @eliaskacavas @malpal43 my wonderful sparring partners. @jordanlgonzalez my twin & @travon my heart. Thank you Roberto And Lindsay, for all that you are, all that you create, and on behalf of all of the lives you have changed.

Finally, to Faran, it is so difficult to think our story is over. You’ve taught me to be a survivor in such a lonely time. I couldn’t have done or got thru any of this without you. I wish you were real so you could hear how loved you are. But, equally as good is hearing fans’ stories of where they see themselves in ur fight, humor, & wit. ILY writers!
