Week 33 of 2024 ✨ Having to throw it back a bit as I get on top of the weeks I’ve missed since doing Vlogust but I thought it would be nice to still upload as a bit of BTS for any of you that watched the vlogs this month! 1. Spending the day with @markyyferris down at the seafront after sniffing all the autumn candles in Homesense 👀 2. Her little face here absolutely MELTS my heart. ♥️ 3. And another! Can just imagine all the mischief these two are going to get up to together 4. Back home for a movie night in the garden with the blow up screen & projector. Probably one of my favourite nights of the month! We ate many a beige snack, got cosy under blankets and watched Tarot (would recommend, kinda jumpy, quick easy storyline to follow and a good overall spooky vibe – especially watching in the garden in darkness) 5. Paint your partner night! Have wanted to do this for so long but wanted some nice consistent summer weather so we could all fully commit and sit in the garden! It was honestly so enjoyable. Not only did I love just sitting and painting but I also really enjoyed us all doing it together, there were endless laughs and funny chitchat. 6. The garden set up!! 7. Everyone taking their seats opposite their partner & deciding what medium to use. We set an hour timer which felt like a good amount of time, to be honest it went so quickly!! 8. Girl dad ♥️ 9. Evening picnic with Alf, Pops & Sean to watch the sunset! I made us all sandwiches and we headed out with a bat and ball and a picnic blanket! 10. Picnic sunset! 11. You know it’s summer when Alfie gets his slack line out! Ottie was better at it than me… Also just want to say here on instagram just how grateful I am to everyone who tuned in to vlogust through the month! We have a little thumb sucker (Ottie started but as soon as she got teeth she stopped – Novie seems to want to carry on regardless!) I sucked my thumb when I was little too. Week 32 of 2024 ✨ Well thank goodness I can upload up to 20 images in a carousel now because this week was jam packed. 1. An afternoon at mums house with the family. The garden is absolute goals 🌼 2. Loved this photo! Her little dimples 🥲 3. The 4 generations. Ottie in this photo is such a mood haha 4. We have a little thumb sucker (Ottie started but as soon as she got teeth she stopped – Novie seems to want to carry on regardless!) I sucked my thumb when I was little too. She does it when she’s tired or wants milk, a nice little indicator 🥰 5. Fun at the farm on the swings ♥️ 6. Week 31 of 2024 ✨ 1. Probably my favourite photo of me & Novie I’ve taken so far! We headed down to the beach on the most perfect day. It was hot but not unbearable & there was no wind! We even managed to find a little sandy spot so Ottie could build sandcastles 🏝️ her little teeth!! 2. In the middle of an Ottie & Novie sandwhich, the best kind of sandwhich ♥️ 3. If you don’t take one of these carts to the carboot with your small child, then you’re doing it all wrong 😂 It’s honestly been a game changer. Ottie absolutely loves sitting in it and being pulled along the bumpy fields reading her new books! I mostly love to go because it feels so nice to get out on a Sunday morning with family (plus I get so many steps in, some of these sunny Sunday carbootys have been HUGE), we mostly buy lots of amazing books, although @joe_sugg did find a huge box of duplo for £5 which has been the find of the season. Do you love a carbooty? 4. Alfie’s 30th birthday present from his mum & dad arrived and so naturally we decided to give it a test run with an impromptu bbq for the whole family. Cue dashing around @marksandspencer for the essentials and brushing down the garden furniture! 5. The end result! It was delicious. 6. On the hottest day of the year so far, me & @theannaedit had a pre-booked in day at @south_lodge and we honestly felt like we were on holiday for the day. Mummy hats off, treatments & lime sodas in the sun. We took books with the intention of having some sun lounger reading & then laughed at ourselves thinking that would have ever happened. We talked for the whole 8 hours instead obviously 😂 7. Summer walks ☀️ 8. VLOGUST! Although my camera is already hanging on, we started daily uploads this week to capture August & I’m loving it so far.
