A lot of people said “you guys can’t do the floors yourself” but what I’ve come to find is that more often than not it’s a matter of will or won’t – more than can or can’t. Jay hasn’t slept in 24 hours and it’s hard, difficult work, especially with an infant – but it CAN be done, and it will.
When you’re called to something, answer. It’s just a season – a resting phase will come again, because that’s how the cycles of life go. The next time we rest, we can rest in the house that WE built.. and that feels good.
