Faiza Saleem Instagram – On the way to Hunza.
1. We missed our flight from Karachi to Islamabad and consequently to Skardu the following day. One whole day wasted.
2. Came back the next day, flew to Islamabad where we stayed for one night and of course had @sumopk for dinner.
3 Took a 45 mins long flight to Skardu in the morning then drove for 6-7 hours to our hotel in Hunza.
4. Got mad late because our driver thought he had to take us to Rahila baji’s when we asked him to take us to the hotel @rihlahunza. Little misunderstanding with big consequences.
5. You can hear the panic in everyone’s voices while i tried to stay calm and quiet. I was sitting in front of the vehicle with my palms sweating a river.
6. Once we reached the hotel in pitch darkness, Saman asked if they could take us down in a helicopter the following morning.
7. Once we woke up, we saw how different everything looked and felt in the morning and happily went down to Karimabad.
And this was the start of our girls’ birthday trip to Hunza. 🫶
