Ishita Ganguly Instagram – Jai Mata Vaishno Devi Ki: A New Mythological Series on DD National
This Navratri season, Sagar World presents “Jai Mata Vaishno Devi Ki,” premiering on October 2, 2024, on DD National, airing Monday to Friday at 7:30 PM and 10:30 PM. This limited series consists of 11 episodes that explore the divine love story between Shri Ram and Mata Vaishno Devi, inspired by Shri Suraj Saraf’s book “Vaishno Devi – Jammu.”
The plot follows Mata Vaishno Devi’s journey from Ratnagiri to Trikut Parbat, where she awaits Shri Ram as his Kalki avatar. Themes of devotion, sacrifice, and spirituality resonate throughout this captivating narrative.
Produced by Prem Sagar, Neelam Sagar, and Shiv Sagar, and directed by Dharmesh Shah, the series was filmed over 50 days across breathtaking locations in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, and Vrindavan. It features 18 musical fusion pieces, blending traditional “chaupais” and “dohas” to enrich the storytelling.

The Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board has supported the project, ensuring authenticity in the portrayal of the pilgrimage.
Presented by philanthropist J.C. Chaudhry, this series aims to revive the magic of mythological storytelling, reminiscent of the monumental success of “Ramayan.” Join us this Navratri for a profound exploration of faith and devotion!
