Hawks are your messenger of love and we once counted 80 of them on a single highway, driving cross country. You felt the nostalgic thrill of a tilt-a-whirl and tasted the new delight of an oyster. You understood the importance of marriage in Mexico City when you experienced the danger of an underdone egg. Even shaking with fever & unable to leave your bed, you exuded kindness for those taking care of you, and I fell in love with your heart even more deeply. You led me to the edge we jumped, you promised me marriage would be fun and I thought how lucky I am to experience life with a comedy guy 🙂 You officially became a cat dad! And a pickleball player! And you are THE favorite guest of the friendly skies… We look for signs everywhere and we believe in them. In yellow flowers and sea lions, in strawberries and winged things.
