Marg Helgenberger Instagram – I don’t think I ever had a bigger crush on someone I knew only from seeing them in a movie than I did with Kris Kristofferson in A STAR IS BORN. Kris’s talent, rugged good looks, and oozing sexuality took ahold of my sixteen year old self & led me on a lifelong path of fangirling; listening to his incredible songs, watching his films, and admiring his activism.
Imagine my thrill when 20 years later I get to work opposite Kris in three different projects!
First as naval officers aboard a troubled ship at sea in the @cbstv movie, INFLAMMABLE. I remember behind the scenes far more than the film itself, including harmonizing with Kris at an after party.
The @wbpictures film FIRE DOWN BELOW was next. You guessed it, behind the scenes was where the action was; lots of music & laughter with Kris, Harry Dean Stanton, and a merry band of extraordinary Nashville singer/song writers.
Lastly in @cbstv mini-series, PERFECT MURDER, PERFECT TOWN, about the JonBenet Ramsey murder, in which I played Patsy Ramsey, dyed black hair & all. Too serious of a subject matter for any bts mischief.
Rest in Power dear Kris. I will cherish the memories.
