Nina Williams Instagram – A quick trip to the Eastern Sierra and my first time on the Incredible Hulk 💚 Unfortunately got rained off halfway up but it didn’t even matter. The views were gorgeous, the stone immaculate, and the company 10/10. I felt like a small woodland creature winding through the forest and over the talus, nestling in splitter cracks and taking shelter when rain turned to hail. My @scarpana Generators and Kimas kept their grip even when soaking wet. And cookies kept us going all the way home!
It was a brief but amazing taste of what the Hulk has to offer. Somewhat bittersweet as I continue to navigate injuries that prevent me from training hard for bouldering. I haven’t been specific about the various arm, shoulder, and knee inflammations because I still don’t have a clear picture of what’s going on. But theories are being tested and I’m hopeful an answer will emerge.
In the meantime, long days in the mountains are healing on their own. I’m glad I can still get outside with different climbing skillsets!
