“My journey back to the Philippines opened my heart in ways I didn’t expect. It connected me not only to my culture but also to the untold challenges my family faced—abandonment, loneliness, and struggle. I realized these aren’t just stories from the past; they are energies we continue to carry. Now, it’s time to acknowledge, honor, and release them from our energetic field. When emotional pain arises, I often feel my inner child crying out, asking to be loved, to be seen, and to feel safe. It’s time to open those doors, to let light and compassion shine on the pain we’ve buried for so long.”

“I went on the ancestral pilgrimage of my life when I visited the Philippines in 2018 after my dad suffered a fatal stroke. I was able to be in the Philippines for an extended period of time for the services and to support my mom. While it was deeply traumatic, I also learned so much about my parents and who they were as people before me, along with my grandparents and their painful struggles surviving imperialism and colonization. The story of the Filipino is one of steadfast resilience and I’m honored to co-create this safe space for us to share our stories and heal.”
