We’re proud to be co-releasing “A Swim Lesson” with @latimesdocs, @povdocs and @documentaryplus next month, raising awareness around drowning prevention.
Last week co-directors @rashidajones and @willmccormack were invited to screen “A Swim Lesson” in a packed room at Pixar University. Our star instructor Bill Marsh joined in a panel where participants discussed the inspiration and journey behind making this short documentary.
“A Swim Lesson” is about saving the lives of children by teaching them essential skills they need to survive in water: independence and courage. But it is also about the philosophy of parenting and trusting children to grow past discomfort and learn from mistakes.
When “A Swim Lesson” is released, everyone will be able to watch it for free from the comfort of their homes with their loved ones.
We hope you watch the film and also feel inspired by its message to share it with a parent of a young child.
