Superwowstyle Instagram – Staying PASSIONATE about life is the best gift you can give yourself…
That is not to say it’s easy.
Absolutely not.
As someone who is highly prone to anxiety, depression and what not…
As someone who is extremely sensitive,
And who notices too much, reads people too well (on most days),
living in an intensely emotional state by default,
Sometimes…the simplest of things can be excruciating hard.
Extremely confusing, debilitating.
▪️And I know that’s not just me,
Controlling the mind is one of the hardest challenges we face as humans.
Everybody has their own struggles with mental health.
🩶 But that doesn’t stop me.
And it shouldn’t stop you either.
▪️What helps me stay ‘PASSIONATE ABOUT LIFE’?▪️
For starters,
I protect my peace by making sure I ONLY surround myself with the best people, the most reliable ones with the purest of intentions. (Everybody else is extra. They may come and go, that’s okay).
People have to really prove themselves to be my friend. Be VERY SELECTIVE.
But those I love…I love them with all my heart.
I protect them with all I got.
To love deeply, intensely…and to get that love back is so NOURISHING.
No amount of success, wealth, fame… compares to that feeling.
Love and relationships are the essence of life.
As for work: I am a workaholic.
My work truly is my number one hobby.
And I tell this to everyone – Have lots hobbies.
Doesn’t matter if you are good at it or bad, if you enjoy it do it!
And since you enjoy it, work hard, strive for perfectionism…put your heart and soul into it.
Really…whatever you do in life, (work, hobby, party)…let it consume you completely!
And finally – the most important lesson I learnt this year…is to prioritise my health. It has improved the quality of life so much! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
So yes, that’s what makes life worth it for me,
helps me overcome the challenges of my own brain, (and when it doesn’t, I allow myself a day or two of rest). That helps too.
