To all of you who took the Leap with us, thank you. 🙏🏼
To the resilient crew who worked tirelessly through the threat of a strike, but stuck by our side, thank you forever. To our extraordinary choreographers, @chrislxd @daniellestenguillermo @comfortfedoke @lancefreshness @iampatrickellis @srobertsward words will never ever be enough to express my gratitude for so so much, putting up with me being first and foremost.
To our patient producers, your hard work under great pressure, all the while retaining great love and respect for everyone, thank you.
To all of the phenomenal writers, it was truly an honor to try and embody your visions. I hope we brought your creations to life.
To the many bold and fearless directors, thank you for leading us on a beautiful journey of creativity and exploration that was magical.
To @lizheldens @jasonwiner @kikiwi3 Garry (with two Rs) Brown and Gail Mancuso, I will forever be grateful and in your debt for the chance and honor to try my best to embody the strong, relatable Julia, who was given her “what if” chance. She soared, in my opinion.
I have struggled the last few days with what to say with the most uniquely talented, full of life and passion, determined, hard working, joyful, hilarious, uplifting and unabashedly real cast, I was so privileged to share a screen with. The realm of talent you all own and grace our creative world with is completely without measure. I admire, respect, and am in awe of you all. (Still trying to come to terms with having to work with @scottkfoley again, but I believe I have achieved acceptance and resignation. I actually have been able to smile when I think of you now, Foley) For all of the confused people, we basically started out in this business together and have worked together on a few projects along the way. You were my touchstone, Scott, and I will be always grateful.
Basically, my long winded diatribe is to say I’m heartbroken, yet will always carry the greatness we all know we created for the screen for 12 strong and truly wonderful episodes. We’ll always have Times Square
