Lebanon grieves, and Palestine grieves alongside it. Lebanon’s pain is Palestine’s pain, its wounds are shared, its grief mutual. The enemies of Lebanon are the enemies of Palestine. The Lebanese and Palestinian people stand as one, bound by a shared history and an unbreakable bond. Today, they stand closer than ever, united in resilience and sorrow.
Since October 2023, Israeli strikes have resulted in at least 2,530 fatalities and over 11,800 injuries in Lebanon. The genocide has also displaced more than 1.2 million individuals, severely impacting the nation’s infrastructure and healthcare system. Each statistic represents a profound human tragedy, reflecting the immense suffering endured by the Lebanese people. Despite the devastation, Lebanon’s resilience remains unwavering as its citizens confront the challenges of this ongoing genocide.
لبنان يبكي، وفلسطين تبكي معه. ألم لبنان هو ألم فلسطين، جراحهما مشتركة، وحزنهما واحد. أعداء لبنان هم أعداء فلسطين. يقف الشعبان كجسد واحد، متّحدين بتاريخ مشترك ورابطة لا تنكسر. اليوم، هما أقرب من أي وقت مضى، متحدين في الصمود والحزن.
منذ أكتوبر 2023، أسفرت الضربات الإسرائيلية عن مقتل ما لا يقل عن 2,530 شخصاً وإصابة أكثر من 11,800 في لبنان. كما تسببت هذه الإبادة في تشريد أكثر من 1.2 مليون فرد، مما أدى إلى تأثيرات هائلة على البنية التحتية ونظام الرعاية الصحية في البلاد. كل إحصائية تجسد مأساة إنسانية عميقة، تعكس المعاناة الكبيرة التي يعيشها الشعب اللبناني. ورغم الدمار، يبقى صمود لبنان صلباً، حيث يواجه شعبه تحديات هذا النزاع المستمر بعزيمة لا تنكسر.
