Amala Akkineni Instagram – As women in the Telugu film industry, we wholeheartedly welcome the Hema Committee report and applaud the relentless efforts of the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) in Kerala, whose work has paved the way for this important moment. Inspired by their dedication, The Voice of Women was established in 2019 as a support group for women in the Telugu film industry. Today, we call on the Telangana government to publish the subcommittee report on sexual harassment. This crucial step will aid in shaping policies that ensure a safe and respectful working environment for all women in our industry.
