If you saw it, I did the @todayshow on Thursday in passing backstage @hodakotb mentioned about the Making Space weekend
I joked as I usually do
“Ho… I will like to crash that event!” (I thought it was a company retreat 🫣)
Literally it was less than 2 minutes interaction….
Next thing I know the information for the event showed I was debating making the time, it was a REALLY busy weekend homecoming/kids activities/family/home/work/dogs,etc and I was already super tiered from pretty busy previous weeks…
But something kept on calling me, I kept opening the document that had the speakers schedule trying to figure out what can I move around and take the 45 minutes drive there…
Wrote some friends none could go…
At 11pm Friday night I decided I am going!
Woke up early,could only carved out 3 hrs got there right before the first speaker @wendy.suzuki Uau!!! What an education and transformative information!
Then @manjit.devgun did a guided exercise that brought up a lot of clarity for me! And guess WHAT! We used to know each other but hadn’t seen each other for over 20 years!! Some funny stories came up 😂🫣
Then did a group session @alchemyofbreath I am not going to lie, I was very uncomfortable at the beginning of it but by the end so much was coming out most of us crying so many revelations!
Then I had to run out back to my duties back home BUT…
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS WALKING INTO I WAS NOT MEANT TO BE THERE BUT IT TURNS OUT IT WAS EXACTLY WHERE I NEEDED TO BE AND IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED IT,more then I knew
Thank you @hodakotb for being so open, joyful bringing this up on the hallway! It changed my perspective at a time that I needed and I left recharged.
