A pinch me moment of how did we get here? yet I’ve felt every moment & I didn’t ‘blink & miss it’( like everyone reminds you)… I felt it all, I really did… you’re still so tiny but yet so worldly, inquisitive, loving & stretching… you want to know it all, the weird & the wonders.
A magnificent sponge absorbing everything… you should know my darling, this keeps me awake at night knowing you’re a rare little human sponge, with every blink, could I be better? did we help you or hinder you ?… how do we not entrap you in a ‘system’ and let you flourish without restraints but still keep you safe … it keeps me awake my little love… those shadows under my eyes … a mothers love ❤️
The day you were born, I was reborn into someone completely new, I didn’t think that was possible but here we are, you gave me a motherhood that I never knew existed… our sacred bond.
We love you sorely, in fact it hurts … happy 4th Big Little Ocean you changed our world & made it so much richer … & wow! so damn chaotic! Thank you our beautiful boy Xx
