Faiza Saleem Instagram – Day 1 in Hunza
1. Spent one night @rihlahunza where we had breakfast before going down to Karimabad
2. As soon as we got to Karimabad, we went to see Altit fort which is located at an elevation of over 11,000 feet (3300 meters) so the views are breathtaking.
3. Then we went to have lunch @hunza_food_pavilionn to have local food mamtus and chap shuro (dumplings and meat pies).
4. Visited the Karimabad bazaar to see if you liked anything but didn’t really find much at the time.
5. Stopped by @cafedehunza for their famous walnut cake but became obsessed with their pancakes instead.
6. Did some more window shopping and argued over petty things to make sure the trip felt real before heading to our second hotel in Hunza – @luxushunza
7. At the hotel we were graciously upgraded to the honeymoon suite which surprisingly didn’t make us uncomfortable at all. But just to keep things clear, we did un-honeymoon it.
