Pics 1,2,3 – I hosted the screening of @impure.film.official, a poignant film confronting period stigma and poverty, in partnership with @unfpa_kenya and the @denmarkinkenya, alongside champions for reproductive health and rights.
Pics 4,5 – We also commemorated @celestinegachuhi’s launch of @simama_initiative, an initiative to end GBV. Sitting on a panel with @njeri_wa_migwi, @itsbeckygitau, @pinkyghelani, and @phil_director felt like a collective healing session. (@kambuamuziki was also part of the event)
Pics 6, 7 – To close the week, I joined @unmotheringthewoman on a panel unpacking sex, shame, and reclaiming agency. It was a powerful reminder of the strength in community and healing, including sharing space with @amih.jasho @joanmaina and Njeri.
