Jessica McDonald Instagram – My first time experiencing @cpkcstadium and here are my thoughts. I have been a part of the @nwsl since day one. Playing away at KC, the club (FCKC), started their inaugural season playing at a high school, which was turf and held maybe a few thousand seats. Over the years, they moved to a smaller stadium which was natural grass and could only hold even lesser seats. We all know about the baseball field, so I won’t go there. But after experiencing @cpkcstadium I can fully admit @kccurrent has set the bar very high for women’s soccer globally. Not a moment of silence once that first whistle blew and witnessing their fanbase was absolutely thrilling. I love this for the club, I love this for the league. It was nothing short of amazing.
