Jordan Casteel Instagram – It’s so hard to believe that there are only 10 days left to see “Field of view” at the @hillartfoundation — it has been the collaboration and show of my dreams. Working with people and communities I admire so greatly to bring together a body of work that examines the breath of work I’ve made in the last 10 years. Each work was so generous loaned and considered to form the connections between time and place in my life. Working with @loh33 was such a treat — as a friend and someone I first met while a resident at the @studiomuseum. The support of @hillartfoundation has been deeply rooted and allowed me to push the bounds of what I thought was possible — making this dream into reality. @pacific_pacific turned my desire for a fun and generous document that held the same new perspectives as the exhibition into a beautiful zine that will stand the test of time.
There are so many to thank — all of you who have broken records at the @hillartfoundation by coming to see the show and all who will journey to see this work in these remaining days. Thank you. Thank you to @caseykaplangallery @hillartfoundation @veronicalevitt @knevadan @snibness and @jenniferjaberhw for working so hard behind the scenes to make this all happen.
Next week will be the talk with @loh33 at @hillartfoundation which is already at capacity, but will be recorded.
