Maureen McCormick Instagram – It’s truly amazing to see how powerful experiences like the Law Enforcement Torch Run for @SpecialOlympics Conference can leave a lasting impact. I’m still reflecting on the incredible time I had. From meeting and learning from inspiring athlete speakers to engaging with the dedicated Council members, every conversation felt like a reminder of why the mission of Special Olympics is so important. It was an honor to share time with legends like Loretta Claiborne, whose unwavering determination and spirit continue to motivate so many, and Chief LaMunyon, whose vision for Torch Run has helped create a global movement. A special shout-out to @letrforso Chairman John Clifton, who continues to lead with such passion and commitment to the cause, and to all the fellow law enforcement volunteers who came together to celebrate and advance the mission. Each interaction, each conversation, and each moment at the conference reinforced the power of collaboration and the difference we all can make when we come together to support athletes with intellectual disabilities.
